Halalbihalal IAMSA: Strengthening Bonds to Build a Synergized MRO Ecosystem

The Indonesia Aircraft Maintenance Services Association (IAMSA) held a halalbihalal gathering at PT Aero Nusantara Indonesia, STPI Curug, Legok, Banten, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. The event, attended by IAMSA Chairman and President Director of PT Garuda Maintenance Facility AeroAsia Tbk (GMF) Andi Fahrurrozi, IAMSA Supervisory Board member Diding Sunardi, IAMSA Advisory Board member Richard Budianto, IAMSA Secretary General Freddy Fransiscus, and representatives from companies within the Indonesian MRO association, carried the theme “Strengthening Bonds to Build a Synergized MRO Ecosystem.” The purpose of this gathering was to foster stronger ties and enhance synergy among IAMSA members.

In his remarks, Andi Fahrurrozi expressed his gratitude for the attendance of all invited guests and emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in building a stronger and more competitive aircraft maintenance industry in Indonesia. He discussed Indonesia’s potential in the MRO sector, while also acknowledging the existing challenges.
“When talking about MRO today, there are several opportunities but also challenges, one of which is related to human resources,” said Andi Fahrurrozi.

The President Director of PT Aero Nusantara Indonesia, as the host, also thanked all attendees for their presence. In addition to promoting camaraderie among IAMSA members, the halalbihalal event also featured a presentation and socialization session by AviaX Group Director Bayu Andhika about the upcoming Indonesia MRO Summits (IMROS) 2025, scheduled for October.

Following lunch, the event continued with a visit to the PT Aero Nusantara Indonesia (ANI) hangar and a tour of Budiarto Airport. Guests were given the opportunity to explore the airport, which is used as a training ground for pilot and aviation personnel candidates undergoing flight education. In addition to IAMSA members, the event was also attended by Udi Tito Priyatna, Sub-Directorate Head of Airworthiness, Sokhib Al-Rokhman, Head of the Aviation Facilities Calibration Center, as well as other invited guests.
